Infertility & Fundraising

Thanks to all the fabulous people who have supported the Tinina Q. Cade Foundation! To date the Cade Foundation has provided 74 families with grants of up to $10,000 and hosted hundreds of education programs to share about different ways to OVERCOME infertility.

When my husband and I were diagnosed with infertility one year into our marriage, I struggled with the fear of never becoming a mom. I was ashamed of my body for failing me- angry at other people who got pregnant with ease and frustrated because I thought we were the only ones struggling to conceive. Years later- my mom served as our Gestational carrier and delivered our miracle triplets. Infertility was hard to face- and as soon as we became parents, my husband and I committed to giving back to help people still struggling to become parents. I knew I had to do something. That’s when I began my personal crusade to fight back. I’m sure you know (or, like me, maybe even love) someone who has infertility. The statistics on this terrible disease are alarming — and clearly establish a challenge for all of us. My fondest wish is to see a cure in my lifetime. We started the Cade Foundation, and through this vehicle that we have supported thousands of individuals and families.

I started running the Cade Foundation in 2007 and I did that for an entire decade. I may one day go back to running the Foundation full time, when my writing deadlines ease. But, for now, I’m hosting a different kind of fundraiser. I encourage each person reading this to consider donating $1 to support families with infertility (but you are welcome and invited to donate more).  We will also post the silent auction for the Cade Foundation Gala every Fall 3 weeks prior to the auction and I invite you to bid on the items.

Also a percentage of every GUUD Book will be donated to the Tinina Q. Cade Foundation.
